On behalf of all our faculty, staff and students, I would like to welcome you to theDepartment of Civil Engineering at Baba Institute of Technology and Sciences, Visakhapatnam. Civil Engineering is the spine of all infrastructural facilities, from a small house to huge dams through the network of highways, canals, railways, smart cities, bridges, tunnels, flyovers, power plants, industrial setups and manufacturing units. The young engineering aspirants, who wish to make their career in the field of Civil Engineering, are welcome to the department of Civil Engineering at Baba Institute of Technology and Sciences. The department offers B.Tech and M.Tech programs in Civil Engineering. Our undergraduate curriculum is not only a perfect blend of theoretical and practical aspects of varied disciplines of civil engineering such as structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, water resources engineering, andsurveying, but also provides values based education, inculcating the qualities of a responsible engineer who can undertake any challenging project with right understanding towards holistic development of the society.

Further facilitated by hand-on projects, field visits, real-time Survey camp with latest equipment like total station, Industrial and software training, Industry-academic interaction, our students are not only highly sought after graduates by the industries in India and abroad and well taken by foreign universities for higher studies, but also have proved to be successful entrepreneurs and running their start-ups right after their graduation.
